An acceptance to an offer has no legal effect until it is communicated to the offeror. An offer that is communicated to the general public is called a general offer. This kind of offer can be taken up by any person in the group who wishes to follow the terms of the offer. The offeror and the offeree enter into a contract when an offer is accepted by the individual to whom it is directed to. In case the offer is accepted by a large number of people the number of individuals who accept the contract will equal the number of contracts thus, only the offerees who accept the offer will be bound by the terms of the contract.
