Equitorial rain forest canopy

The canopy of the equatorial rain forest usually occurs at a height of above 30 M from the ground. It is made of leaves and branches that are overlapping in the rain forest trees. According to research from scientists about 75 percent of equatorial rain forest life is found in trees. Due to this factor, it is the animal and plants life richest habitat. Some of the well-known animals that inhabit the canopy include sloths, snakes, small cats, birds, monkeys, and lizards. Canopy conditions are different from forest floor conditions. The equatorial canopy is hotter and drier during the day when compared to other forest parts.
