Slope wetlands are characterized by groundwater discharging to some surface along a sloping land. Thus, we can mention some deposition features of such wetlands: alluvial deposits (sand, silt, gravel) appear where the flow bed is soil. Wetland soils contain a lot of organic matter. Peat soils may carry the highest amount of water.
