We would not have volcanoes and trenches. Although it is unclear what is "not destroyed". Does it mean that we consider the crust as a flexible matter of as a rigid body? The first scenario also would mean that the area of oceans was decreased. The second one would lead to catastrophic earthquakes much stronger than we have still without volcanoes.
