Answer to Question #107919 in Thermal Power Engineering for rizka fernanda

Question #107919
A 0.5 m diameter pipe carries steam so that the surface temperature of the pipe is 500 K.
The pipe is in a room with a temperature of 300 K, the room air has a convection coefficient h = 20 W / m2 K and and ɛ = 0.9. Calculate the combined heat transfer coefficient of convection and radiation (hc + hr), and also calculate the heat velocity lost per one meter pipe length .. (Bolzmann constant σ = 5.67 x 10-8 W / m2 K4)
