the bend is 10 mm. Estimate the yield strength to be 90 percent of the ultimate
strength.
(a) Find the maximum and minimum latching forces.
(b) Determine the fatigue factor of safety for infinite life, using the modified
Goodman criterion.
(c) **Two Bolts of the following properties are used to fix the spring to the frame.
Determine the load carried by each bolt and the stresses in each bolt.
