A central computer system is a system that communicates with all the peripherals attached or associated with itself. The peripherals may be a printer, scanner, keybopards, mouse, monitors, blue tooth devices, some wireless devices, logic systems with IOs based control logics interfaced with MUX/DeMux and many others.

The peripherals always communicate with the host device or central CPU that sends the commands to perform the activity and gets acknowledged for completion of the same. The next task is send when the previous one is completed or waits for the BUSY flag to be free.

Interface:

Interface plays a vital role in CPU and peripherals systems. Interface creates a layer of control or communication between the CPU and peripherals to talk or shake hands with each other. The interface may be a serial interface, parallel interface (centronic), usb interface or wire less like blue tooh.
