Dead Lock

When two computer programs access the same data in a data set or resource, then in that case due to priority issue, both programs ceases each other’s action/output thereby stalling any output to come.

A real life example of the same can be understood from the case of a narrow road being accessed by two cars coming from opposite side. The other car can only cross the road until unless the first does not clear the way.

Another example is the bank’s customer account access. If a customer is accessing his account for any debit/credit transaction and at the same time bank’s official is also accessing the same for a transaction. In that case, a dead lock situation may ocur.
