Selectivity is the ratio of the desired product formed in moles to the undesired product formed in moles

Yield is the measure of the performance of reactor or plant.

For a reactor

Yield =(moles of product formed × stoichiometric factor)/(moles of reactant converted)

Where stoichiometric factor =

Stoichiometric moles of reactant required per moles product formed
