Answer to Question #63141 in Other Economics for Maya
Could you escape the Malthusian trap and how an economy would escape from it?
The Malthusian trap is the putative unsustainability of improvements in a society's standard of living because of population growth. Up until now human history was a proof of the Malthusian trap. The population grows, resources are exhausting and the environment is being polluted. However along with that a concept of “green growth” increases its popularity year after year. It focuses on enabling human society to grow based on the renewable natural resources and with implementation of the resource circulation (“circular economy”). This developmental concept has a potential of escaping Malthusian trap.
So far, I am satisfied. Unfortunately, I failed a quiz, but appreciate the fact that some of my money was refunded. I'm glad that I made an A on my Assignment #8. Wish I could keep the same tutor for the remainder of this course.
