For 1 mole of propan-1-ol it isrequired 5 moles of O2;
For 0.1 mole – X moles of oxygen;
X = 0.1 x 5/1 = 0.5 moles of O2;
1 mole of O2 has volume 22.4 L;
0.5 moles – Y L;
Y = 0.5 x 22.4/1 = 11.2 L (of O2);
The final volume of O2 is: 12-11.2 = 0.8 L;
Answer: 0.8 L
