The particles of a solid diffuses with a liquid.... diffusion, acc 2 book means, the movment of the particles on their own... then u dont the particles of the solid diffuse with air????? i jst cant get y.. plzz help!!! and one more... wht is the difference betwn brownian motion and diffusion??

The Brownian motion has the same nature as diffusion, yet it is much slower due to large size and
mass of particles. The particles of a solid can diffuse in air as well as in liquid; however, the larger density of solid particles as compared with gas will cause their subsidence. Therefore, their air suspension will be unstable.
