Answer to Question #59576 in Organic Chemistry for Bertha

Question #59576
I can't for the life of me figure out the name of this compound using it's IR Scan or it's H MNR. I know for a fact that it is some sort of carboxylic acid, but I can't figure out how to name it. Could you please help me determine a name for the compound?

Here is the IR scan:

According to IR spectrum it’s benzoic acid.
See spectra at https://rod.beavon.org.uk/benzoica.htm
IR spectra are absolutely identical. However, 1H NMR spectrum is not so informative, but it indicates on aromatic compound.
