At. weight of the Gold (Au) is = 196.97 ( 197 g )

Avogadro's number in one mole are = 6.022 X 1023


 means 6.022 X 10^23 atoms weigh 197 g.

therefore,


1g contain "{6.022\\times 10^{23}\\over197}" of atoms


1g = 0.3057 X 1022 atoms


means 3.67 x 1022 atoms is equal to 12 gms of gold.


and cost of 12 gm gold will be 12 X 45 = 540 $


which is less then $600 therefore it is good deal.
