y-Fe2o3 and Fe3o4 are supposed to be face centred cube however when I do the calculations based on there peaks on the x-ray spectra the idex whcih are the hkl are all possibilties odd and even so thats primitive? or am I doing something wrong?

Solution:
An example of a ferrimagnet magnetite is FeO * Fe2O3. Negative oxygen ions form Cubic face- centered lattice in which for each molecule FeO * Fe2O3 there is one divalent and two trivalent ions
gland. One of the sublattices of a complex ferrite lattice is formed by half trivalent iron ions, the other - the second half of the trivalent Iron ions and divalent iron ions or substituting for it metal.
