Answer to Question #37442 in Inorganic Chemistry for EDWARD TONE
FOR DETERMINATION H2S IN AMINE SOLUTION WITH Potentiometry WITH AgNO3 with silver electrode why we dont need added ammonia but for H2S in condensate ammonia(NH4OH) we added ammonia? because in two solution(amine, condensate) we have Chloride?
Amines can make complexes with silver as well as ammonia does. Therefore there is no necessary in adding ammonia to the amine solution.
