This is the reaction for this process:
Pb3O4 + 4HNO3 —> PbO2 + 2Pb(NO3)2 + 2H2O
Lead dioxide it is an odorless dark-brown crystalline powder which is nearly insoluble in water. It exists in two crystalline forms.
