The conductivity of solutions is directly proportional because both the volume and conductivity increased. The conductivity of AlCl3 is greater than the conductivity of NaCl and CaCl2. NaCl has the lowest conductivity out of the 3 ions.The appearance of the graphs appears to be linear relationships due to the concentration. The graph shows that as the concentration increased, the conductivity increased.
Dissociation of NaCl: NaCl →Na+ (aq) + Cl-
Dissociation of CaCl2: CaCl2 →Ca+2 (aq) + 2Cl-
Dissociation of AlCl3: AlCl3 →Al+3 (aq) + 3Cl-
