For answering this question you need to calculate amount of mol in final mixture.

6.0 mol in& 1 L
x mol in& 0.1L

x = 0.6 mol

So you have 0,6 mol in 500 mL

New concentration is

0,6 mol in 0.5L

x in 1 L

C = 1.2 M
