 15% of nitrogen and hydrogen react to form ammonia

Nitrogen and hydrogen gas react to form ammonia according to the reaction below

The new chemical equation is

 N2(g) + H2(g) →2 NH3(g)

Reactants Products

 Nitrogen 2

Hydrogen 2

6 Since NH3 is multiplied by a coefficient of 2 there are now 2 nitrogens and 6 hydrogens

Mole ratio = 1 : 1 : 2

1 = 15%

Therefore 2 = ?

2(15) = 30%

30% of 2800kg

( 30/100 )(2800)

= 840kg = 0.84tonnes
