i am producing hypochlorous acid through electrolysis. After producing several batches, suddenly my product is giving off a strong bleach smell. I am maintaining all the variables. What could be the problem?

Free available chlorine of most produced HOCL is unstable and easily evaporates to generate a strong chlorine smell (strong bleach smell). Check the conditions of the process to increase the reaction PH-an increase in PH decrease loss of chlorine.

Thank you so much. Can you please tell me what other factors could affect stability? I've been doing the process in the eaxct same procedure but suddenly this smell became really strong.
