Dear expert,

I have a question on isopropanol.
As i measured fresh opend isopropanol from container, the pH value was ~ 5 and after some cleaning of electric part it raise up to pH2 or pH 3.
And I was wundering why this happen.
Is there any special reason or just of evaporation of liquid ?

For production of electronics components use rosin. Rosin is acidic solid substance soluble in isopropanol. Asid make pH more lower. pH shift to 2 because isopropanol contain acid.
