Answer to Question #71288 in General Chemistry for Micro

Question #71288
I need help with the following question:

What is the maximum mass of ethane (C₂H₄) that can react with 100.0dm3 of oxygen in a combustion reaction? (Assume STP Condition)

This is an example in a book, I have an exam tomorrow and I am revising and there are no steps for this example, just question and answer.

I know ethane is C2H6, not C2H4, still, the answer below this example was 42.7g.

How is the answer 42.7g? ( please show with steps)

I know how to solve this with other elements and other ones of this kind of exercises, but I don't know how the answer to this is 42.7g and not something else I got.

Thanks in advance.

We think that the answer is an error, I checked the combustion reactions of ethane and ethene to CO2 and CO. There is no answer in any of the options. 42.7. With ethenom up to СО2 it turns out 41.66. The remaining answers are even further.
