Solution: Coarse filter paper can’t be used to filter ultrafine precipitation. This can lead to serious losses of the product and ultimately to an increase in the percentage error of the experiment. The percentage loss (and therefore the experimental error) of the precipitate depends on the specific brand of filter paper used and the particle size of the barium phosphate particles (depends on the deposition conditions).
