Answer to Question #57264 in General Chemistry for enicay
Prognosis of the direction of spontaneously proceeding processes in isolated and closed systems
The nature of the Gibbs energy change gives an indication of the direction of spontaneously proceeding processes in isolated and closed systems. When ∆G<0, the process can proceed, at ∆G>0, the process processes spontaneously in opposite way (in other words, if the Gibbs energy in the initial state of the system is greater than at the end, the process can take place if on the contrary - it may not) . If ∆G = 0, then the system is in a state of chemical equilibrium.
Thank you for your assistance. I received a 100% on my assignment. I was a little nervous about using this site, the reviews were not good, but I have to admit, I took a chance and I am so glad that I did. Math/Economics is not my specialty, I'm so glad that I came across this site. This is a true review. I will be using this site again. Fingers crossed that I continue to receive 100% on my assignments!
