As Concentration of NaOH solution = 3.0M

Volume of NaOH solution = 850 mL = 200 / 1000 L = 0.2 L

Molar Mass of NaOH = 40 g/mol

Mass of NaOH added;

= Concentration of NaOH solution × Volume of NaOH solution × Molar Mass of NaOH

= 3.0 M × 0.2L × 40 g/mol

= 24 g
