Molar Mass of HCl = 36g/mol

Molar Mass of Zn = 65g/mol

= 125g/36 = 3.47 moles of HCl

150/65 = 2.31 moles Zn

Mole ratio = 1Zn = 2Hcl

= 2.31 moles Zn × 2.0 = 2.62 moles of HCl

Because we have 3.47 moles of HCl compared to 2.62 moles needed to fully react zinc, therefore Zn is the limiting reactant.
