Given:

A particular sample of gas has with a volume of 0.3249 mL.if the trmperatrue triples and the pressure is halved what is the new volume?

To find: The new volume

The calculation as follows,

The ideal gas law equation is given as below,

PV= nRT -------(1)

The value of n is taken to be n=1,

On rearranging the equation 1 as,

V =RT/P

The value of volume is given as 0.3249ml

V =RT/P =0.3249ml

The values are given as,

T*= 3T; P= P/2

V* = RT*/P*

V*= R3T/(P/2)

On simplifying as,

V*= 6V

V*=6*0.3249

V*=1.9494ml

Hence, the volume is 1.9494ml
