Initial volume, V1 = 11.5 L


Final pressure, P2 = 4.3 atm

Final Volume, V2 = x L (say)


We know at constant temperature

"P1V1 = P2V2"

"Or, V2 = P1V1\/P2"

"Or, V2 = (1.1\u00d711.5)\/4.3"

"Or, V2 = 2.942"


Hence,the final volume setting = 2.942 L
