Algae and fungi differ in their mode of nutrition. Algae are autotrophic. They have chlorophyll and perform photosynthesis.

Protozoa (pro-toe-ZO-uh) are one-celled organisms, like bacteria. But they are bigger than bacteria and contain a nucleus and other cell structures, making them more like plant and animal cells. Protozoa love moisture.

Fish live and breathe under water. All reptiles breathe air.

The key difference between mosses and ferns is that mosses are small spore-producing non-vascular plants, while ferns are spore-producing vascular plants.
