Synarthrosis joints are immovable joints whereby two bones are rigidly connected by fibrous tissue. They are mostly found on the skull (Sutures), tibia and fibula (Syndesmoses) in the ankle, and the joint between teeth and their sockets (Gomphoses). The main diseases of synarthrosis joints are arthritis, Scurvy, and periodontal diseases in Gomphoses, Gout in syndesmoses, and Paget's disease of bone in sutures.
