Environmental conditions do not affect genotype. Therefore, a tall plant that was grown on nutrient deficiency soil still carries the genes for tallness.

In plants, being tall is a dominant trait. Thus, genotype of the dwarf plant is tt.

If genotype of the plant cultivated on nutrient deficiency soil is TT, then all offspirng will be tall.

If genotype of the plant cultivated on nutrient deficiency soil is Tt, then half of the offspirng will be tall, and another half will be dwarf.
