In humans, diabetes is a sex-linked recessive trait. If a homozygous normal woman and a man, whose mother is a diabetic, have children, what will be the phenotypes and genotypes of their children?

If woman is normal homozygous, she has genotype XD XD. If mother of her husband is diabetic, he has genotype XdY and also is diabetic.So if they have children, they will have such genotypes:

XDXd and XDY

Phenotypes: all girls will get a recessive gene , but will be healthy. All boys will be healthy.

XD- dominant

Xd- recessive allele( diabetic allele)
