Homo erectus is a predecessor of Homo sapiens. Homo habilis arose 2.1 million years ago during the Early Pleistocene, but Homo erectus- 1.89 million years ago. H. habilis found only in East Africa, but H. erectus found all across Europe, Africa, and the Near and Far East.Homo habilis individuals were bipedal ,very hairy, short with disproportionately long arms and smart people. Homo erectus was lanky and boney, had shorter and slender arms. H.erectus individuals were more similar to modern people.Thecranial capacity of H. habilis ranged from 360 to 600 cm3 and the face was larger than the braincase.

Even more than Homo habilisHomo erectus was a maker and user of stone tools.  Homo erectus was also the first , who discovered how to control and use fire. They were intelligent as you like with some had cranial capacities up to 1,100 cm3, but some had about 850 cm3.

Homo erectus hunters may have been able to outrun small- to medium-sized game animals. It featured prominent brow ridges and a sloping forehead. Although the teeth were smaller that those of Homo habilis.H. habilis had not much difference between the body sizes of males and females, when it was strongly notable within Homo erectus, because females were significantly smaller than males.
