Some people are for the use of GM crops because they may be beneficial to ecosystems. Some people are against the use of GM crops because they could harm ecosystems. Discuss these opinions for and against the use of GM crops.

The pros of GM crops are that they may contain more nutrients, are grown with fewer pesticides, and are usually cheaper than their non-GM counterparts. The cons of GM foods are that they may cause allergic reactions because of their altered DNA and they may increase antibiotic resistance.
