The nucleus is responsible for storage of the cells DNA, this is the code that allows for the coding of all cellular proteins. The cytoplasm is responsible for the location of some of the organelles present in the cell and helps keep them stable. The membrane provides a binding place for organelles within in the cell as well also providing the integrity of the cell and one of the most important properties of the cell; selective permeability.
