Leaves have a very good adaptation for photosynthesis.

They have :

  1. A large total area to absorb more light to allow Cars
  2. They contain openings called stomata, to allow CO2 into the leaf and O2 out.
  3. The plant cell have chloroplasts wich containthe the chlorophyll pigment. The light phase of photosynthesis take place their.
  4. Leves have “transport” tissues (xylem and phloem). This specialised tissues move substances in and around the leaf and the whole plant.
