Photosynthetic rates depends on the amount of carbon dioxidein the air. When the amount of carbon dioxide increases, the plants begin toincreasingly capture it and thus increases the rate of photosynthesis. Conversely, when the amount of carbon dioxide decreases, plants reduce its fixation and photosynthetic rate decreases too.
