You will need to put 100mL of distilled water in a beaker with a magnetic stir bar inside. Add 25mL of the provided 1M Tri-Cl and 1mL of 0.5M EDTA into the water and stir thoroughly.

Pour the mixture into a 250mL volumetric flask rinsing the beaker thoroughly with 20mL of distilled water and adding it into the flask.

Dilute with distilled water to the mark.

Any undissolved white clumps can be redissolved by placing the volumetric flask in a hot water bath.
