Why must the restriction enzyme used for the digestion of TOL plasmid be inactivated immediately after the restriction experiment? How could this be achieved?

The restriction enzyme is deactivated so as not to corrode the system. Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) is used in restriction enzyme storage buffers and is added to digestion reactions to stabilize the enzyme.
