can you please explain me reducing nature with example because i have studied some where that reducing nature means to liberate H+ ion .
so please clear my doubt.

According to Bronsted-lowry theory acid is a compound that can transfer proton to any other compound.
As to reductants and reducing power, it is well known fact that alkaline metals from I period of the periodic table are the best reductunts. Reduction power and as a result reduction nature increase from the top of the period to the bottom, because atomic radius increases. With the increase of atomic radius electron affinity decreases. Metal with the highest atomic radius is the strongest reductunt.
For example in the line Li – Fr, Fr is the strongest reductant because it has the highest atomic radius.
