There are several ways through which a given workplace could contribute to women inequality. One of them includes when there exists unequal pay between the female and male workers of a given organization. Studies show that even though many women in developed countries like the United States are more educated than their male counterparts, the women earn less salary as compared to men in the US workforce. A research that Institute for Women’s Policy Research conducted indicates that women earn about 49 cents in comparison to every $1 that the men earn. The reason for this discrepancy has always been the fact that more than half of the leave given to women in a year is twice the one that men get. This kind of discrepancy has led to increase in inequality of women in different workplaces.
