a, Peers are those people who belong to the same societal group be it through age or class and therefore shows that are those friends who surrounds us in our day-to-day life. Teens needs to choose their friends wisely. Friends who make hale and heathy, harmless and positive decisions helps in motivating our teenagers to take the same path. Peers can also influence the life of teenagers negatively and hence leading them to making unhealthy decisions in life such as engaging themselves into drugs, alcohol, skipping school among others. Peer pressure leads to sudden changes in behavior, appearance, attitude which can lead to the teenagers developing a rebellious behavior. Parents should always play a core role in developing the life of the child through helping them develop healthy values. When a child is taught while still young, he/she will always feel like going against what was taught by the aren’t is an abomination. Also teaching children on how to set their goals when they are still young helps them to curb the issues that might come up with the effect of the peer pressure that they will meet up.

b. Adolescences is a time when a person perceives, thinks and gains understanding of his/her own world through interaction of genetic and learned factors. During adolescence many people tend to change in their ways of behaving in the society. These changes generally always begin at puberty or shortly after, at this stage these people are trying to realize their place in the society. Development of executive functions, or cognitive skills that enable the control and coordination of thoughts and behavior, are generally associated with the prefrontal cortex area of the brain.
