Negative socioeconomic status of a family is the root cause of delinquency. For instance, the aspect of economy is key in a family, most children who end up in crime are those that come from poor families, not by choice but by circumstance. Moreover, socio aspect of this comes when the parent or guardian neglecting the young one has an impact to the child. Hence, this promotes delinquency as the child is left to stand for him or herself.
