By communicating in a manner that makes them feel important and valued. I would encourage them to talk about what they actually feel and think. I would listen and respond in a sensitive way to all kinds of information as well as focus on the body language and tone and words to understand what the children mean. I would use my own body language to show that I'm interested in the classroom and specifically provide communication methods by considering what the classroom can understand and how long they can stay attentive.
