A person’s workplace and home life can create significant stress that affects one’s psychological wellbeing. Predominantly, many people feel stress related to work and family that can be mental and physical. Similarly, several daily events at work and at home causes stress. Having a lot of pressure from both home and work life can be stressful. Most workplaces have demands that put pressure on workers that may become too much for them to handle leading to stress. For instance, having jobs that are too demanding, experiencing conflicts with bosses or coworkers, threats to job security, discrimination, harassment, tight deadlines, over supervision, and constant changes in the workplace can be very stressful. Conversely, there are various actions that can create home stress such as poor management of home expenses, having a messy home, having overflowing laundry, and many other household chores, which may be hurting to one’s health and psychological wellbeing.
