Evolution: Considering the research data indicating that the evolution of political theory was affected by two independent factors, which created classical political theory, which covers Origins: The Polis, Traditional Values, The Sophists, Socrates, Plato: The Defense of Justice, Plato: The Just City, Aristotle, Hellenistic Political Theory; and medieval -The New Testament Background, St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas and the High Middle Ages, Marsilius of Padua and Medieval Constitutionalism, Reformation Political Theory (History of Political Theory: An Introduction). After those stages in political theory evolution, there were new ones, an Islamic Golden Age, Medieval Europe, European Renaissance, European Enlightenment, and finally Industrialization and the Modern Era.
Growth: Political theory grew during its long history of 2500 years; as a result, most of the streams along with traditions have been successfully developed. Schools and concepts which shaped the growth of political theory are as follow: Classical Political Theory, Liberal Political Theory, Marxist Political Theory, Empirical-Scientific Political Theory, and Contemporary Political theory (POLITICAL THEORY: ITS GROWTH AND VARIOUS STREAMS/ SCHOOLS).
