Intentional includes all the deliberate words, deeds, and graphic representations that we conscientiously prefer to have in any specific communication. If the individual is selling marketing services, for instance, their deliberate message may be, "As a world-class advertising firm, we generate outcomes that turn into sales for you." On the other hand, unintentional communication encompasses everything else. It might be poorly selected phrases, the place the communication is sent, or facial gestures. According to researchers, nonverbal or unintentional communication accounts for a substantial portion of human communication.

An example of unintentional communication is when I was at an audition and accidentally spoke a word incorrectly, causing me to blush and gaze down on the floor. The outcome of the communication was not favorable because it led to my failing the interview. Instead of staring down after mispronouncing a word, I would glance at the recruiters and give them a grin if I had the opportunity to remedy the unintentional mistake.
