These are all the steps followed in the meditation process, including choosing a peaceful area, sitting in a specified position, and focusing on one thought for a set amount of time.
The impact is the dependent variable. The independent variable's changes determine its value. This study's actual goals will serve to shed light mainly on the deeper-rooted mechanism of meditation's therapeutic effects.

Meditation has been more popular in very many Western countries, particularly the United States, (West,2011). A growing amount of studies demonstrates that meditation has a range of health benefits, and these results have aroused attention in the medical field.
To comprehend meditation, one must first understand how the human person is perceived by Vedic science or understanding ancient India's Vedic writings. The human being comprises three parts, each with its own set of capabilities: the physical body, the internal faculty, which includes the mind and intellect, and the outer faculty, which consists of the senses, (West,2011).
The deep inner Self is the unchanging pure awareness with unity and observes the internal faculty's action. Thus, the knowledge, wisdom, innovation, and all-natural principles that regulate existence comes from the deep inner Self.
This encompasses both the positive and negative aspects of meditation. The advantages of mediation exceed the drawbacks. During the meditation process, accumulated stressors are released, energy is enhanced, and general health is improved.
According to research, a complete lifestyle program enhanced health and altered expression of genes in prostate cancer who had not been treated using surgery, radiotherapy, or hormone therapy, (West,2011).
As stated in ancient Vedic writings, meditation is a conscious exercise that leads to cognitive expansion beyond the everyday experience of duality. It is a sense of oneness that decreases stress and improves the inner faculty's creativity and efficiency. This is a practice that takes place without the use of the mind.
