Political violence and general terrorism is a major threat to the world. In most cases, radicalization is associated with events of terrorism and mass violence. Radicalization is highly expected to result in events of mass violence or terrorism. When people have strong beliefs in a political or social issue, they could go to extreme extents of even hurting civilians to pass a message. However, it is important to observe that radicalized individuals and those who take part in mass violence events are usually associated with mental disorders. However, terrorist groups are less associated with mental disorders and rarely recruit members who have a history of mental health.
